Minutes EGM Saturday 11th November 2023

Held at Tournerbury Golf Club 9.30 to 9.50

Present:
Andy Sweeney, Steve Stickland, John Green, Rob Holmes, Jacob Heller, Keith Beilby.

Apologies from Tom O'Brien, Bruce Santer, Lyn Santer

Minutes Previous meeting Approved
Captains Cup It was proposed that the Captains Cup Event would become a handicap event in future as we now only play 18 holes. The proposal was seconded by Steve and al attendees agreed. 
Bank signatures It was ageed that Andy Sweeney and Bruce Santer would be new signatures on the bank mandate and once confirmed by Barclays Bank Keith Rutter and Lyn Santer would be removed from the mandate. All voted in favour.
Match fees and subs: It was agreed that in future the society would pay all deposits and that members taking part in monthly meetings would pay all fees and subs by bank transfer. This would avoid cash being handled and difficulty in paying in cash to account as Barclays has closed its branch in Bognor.
Election of officers: All current officers agreed to stand and were unanimously voted to continue
New Member: It was proposed that Tony Johnson be accepted as  a new member, this was seconded by Steve Stickland and all agreed.
The point was raised that we need somw new members. All agreed to try to try and invite a guest for future games.
