BRYC Golf Soc verses  PYC Golf Soc
 

Saturday 16th July 2011
With horns drawn both sides went to battle, not against each other but the Rain and wind. Not the best of days. Both sides produced a bakers dozen for the challenge. 
Zippy Skippered our side with the final decision on format being to play a stableford game then add the best 10 scores.
Having done all the Sums BRYC scores amounted to 310 and PYC on 301. So it was a close game with BRYC Golf Society Retaining the cup for another year.

Unfortunately there were conflicting Social events at both clubs so we all parted friends from the golf club vowing to win again next year. Born-to BJovi (BRYC) and a Race night (PYC) 

Saturday 30th May 2010 
saw yet another gathering at Chichester Golf Club. The challenge had been set yet again by Pagham Yacht Club Golf Society.

Zippy skippered the team on a true British Bank Holiday,  weather was heavy rain high winds etc. Teeing off at 1pm all playing off 18 handicaps.( Little did they realise. Nice one Phil H).

Participants were Nigel, Phil L, Phil H,  John G, Keith Rutter, Richard Parker
,Mike Trentchard,  Steve and Brian K

Not sure how the results were calculated but BRYC were presented with the trophy (piccy below) with Stableford points 217 to 221.       

When all had dried out a brilliant evening was held at PYC with Country and Western entertainment.
